Esta semana celebramos la presentación del primer single de Silverback, segundo disco de Aliment que se publicará el próximo mes de septiembre en LP+Mp3, CD y Digital.
Car Crush es la canción escogida, una muestra del giro pop que está tomando el punk frenético de Aliment en sus últimas composiciones. Los coros y melodías que inundan los poco más de dos minutos nos recuerdan a grupos como The Marked Men, una de sus máximas influencias.
Silverback se grabó con Santi Garcia en Cal Pau Recordings el pasado verano y está compuesto por diez píldoras de punk pop furioso a la vez que feliz, vistiendo letras que tratan sobre las luces y sombras de las relaciones humanas con un muro de sonido y unas ganas tremendas de vivir, corear y hacernos bailar (puños en alto) en sus conciertos.

This week La Castanya celebrates the premiere of the first single out from Aliment’s sophomore album Silverback, a record that will be released in September on LP+Mp3, CD and Digital.
Car Crush is the chosen song, an example of the pop direction that Aliment’s upbeat punk is facing in their last compositions. The chorus and melodies that flood this two minutes tune remind us bands like The Marked Men, one of their biggest influences.
Silverback was recorded by Santi Garcia at Cal Pau Recordings last summer and contains ten cheerful punk-pop hits that wraps lyrics about the good and the bad in human relationships up with a wall of sound and a need to live, sing along and make us dance (with our fists in the air) at their shows.
